Ham with Apple Raisin Sauce


INGREDIENTS

  DIRECTIONS

  • Reynolds® Oven Bag, Large Size 

  • 1 tablespoon flour

  • 2 medium apples, peeled and chopped

  • 1 cup apple juice

  • 1/2 cup raisins

  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 4 to 6 pound boneless fully cooked ham

  • Whole cloves (optional)
  PREHEAT oven to 325°F.


SHAKE flour in Reynolds Oven Bag; place in 13x9x2-inch or larger baking pan with sides at least 2 inches deep.


ADD chopped apple, apple juice, raisins, brown sugar and cinnamon to oven bag. Squeeze bag to blend in flour. Lightly score surface of ham in a diamond pattern; insert cloves if desired.Place ham in bag.


CLOSE oven bag with nylon tie; cut six 1/2-inch slits in top. Tuck ends of bag in pan.


BAKE 1 1/4 to 1 3/4 hours or until meat thermometer reads 140°F. Stir sauce before serving.
